Rosemary Riggs provides a dual role as both an experienced Equine-Assisted Therapist and Yoga Therapist for our residents at Summit Malibu.

She facilitates therapeutic group and private sessions for our clients by navigating a myriad of life challenges including post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, and addiction.

Rosemary acts as a bridge between either an individual client, or a group of clients, and the therapeutic healing of horses.

She incorporates a variety of healing treatment modalities into her practice, including somatic experiencing, constellation family systems, yoga, and meditation.

When using Equine-Assisted Therapy, the horse becomes a guide and mirror for what is happening within the psyche of each participant.

This unique experience creates opportunities for trauma release, nervous system regulation, and an embodied sense of self.

Rosemary’s rare combination of treatment experience offers a welcome perspective for the healing and recovery of Summit Malibu’s residents.
